Have You Been Told You Are "Uninsurable"?

Not True!

Now, from the traditional Health Care Policy standpoint you probably aren't "insurable" but fortunately there are a few companies that are helping out with a Guarantee Issue Policy.

How does this work and How much does it cost? Good question and here are your answers:

First lets tackle the question of why some can't get a traditional/standard Health care policy. There are numerous factors involved when the underwriting department begins to look at your medical history and their "exposure" to future claims. I know, it doesn't seem fair (and I agree with you); however, insurance companies are a FOR Profit business like other businesses so they must qualify their financial "exposure".

Here is a basic list of immediate denials when it comes to qualifying for a standard/traditional health policy. See if you fit into one of these categories before you begin the process of submitting an application. Regardless of your situation, no one likes to hear the words "denied". Do your homework ahead of time and save yourself the anguish and then read on to find out how to get a guarantee issue product if you fit into one of these categories.

Here's another kicker with regard to standard Health policies. Did you know that certain occupations are also exempt from standard/traditional health coverage? Here is a list of those:

Occupation and Avocation Considerations.

Individuals with a particular occupation/avocation(s) or participation in a certain industry may not be considered for coverage. Consideration may vary by state, depending on a particular state’s requirement. The following is ageneral, but not a complete list of occupations/avocations.

Now For The Good News!

You Can Get Some Help And Here's How..................

You have a couple of choices.

One option is the Texas Risk Pool and your other option is to purchase a Guarantee Issue Policy.
Each one has its pros and cons so lets break those down.

The Texas Risk Pool is available to anyone who cannot acquire full medical benefits on their own. The main drawback to going this route is that it can be quite expensive. The good news is that unlike other policies, the state is allowing you to sign up with a medical history that would be denied under normal underwriting guidelines.

Your other option is to participate in a Guarantee issue policy that can give you some type of assistance with regard to your medical needs. However, Please take note of the following:THIS IS NOT BASIC HEALTH INSURANCE. THIS OFFER INCLUDES DISCOUNTS AND/OR SERVICES PLUS ADDED LIMITED BENEFIT INDEMNITY INSURANCE. NONE OF THESE, INDIVIDUALLY OR IN COMBINATION ARE A SUBSTITUTE FOR BASIC HEALTH COVERAGE, MAJOR MEDICAL INSURANCE OR ANY OTHER MEDICAL EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT INSURANCE PLAN.
